Tata Motors Records 59,199 PV Sales in November 2025, Marking a 26% YoY Surge

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles. sold 59,199 units in November 2025, marking a 25.6% increase from 47,117 units in November 2024, Tata Motors announced on Sunday.
Domestic car sales, including electric vehicles, reached 57,436 units in November 2025, up 22% from 47,063 units in comparison of the same month of last year. International business sales upheld at 1,763 units compared to 54 units in November 2024, representing a 3,164.8% growth.
The Tata Motors electric vehicle sales across domestic and international markets totaled 7,911 units in November 2025, a more than 52.1% increase from 5,202 units in last November 2024.
The November Tata car sales figures follow Tata Motors strong October performance, when the company recorded 74,705-unit registrations according to Vahan data of October, securing the second position in India’s passenger vehicle retail sales in India. The October registrations represented an 82% month-on-month increase from September’s approximately 41,151 units.
In October, Tata Motors outsold Mahindra & Mahindra by 7,905 units and Hyundai by 9,660 units in retail sales, maintaining the second-place position it first reclaimed in September 2025 after an intense competitive battle.
Tata Motors’ vehicle retail performance during this festive season also benefits from the GST 2.0 reforms implemented in September, which reduced taxes on smaller cars to 18% from 28%. For Tata’s Nexon model, this translated to savings of up to ₹1.56 lakh, along with additional benefits of around ₹45,000.
Tata Motors’ product lineup extends from entry-level hatchbacks to mid-size SUVs, with models including likes – Nexon, Punch, Tiago, Harrier, Safari, and the recently launched Sierra. The Tatas continue to dominate the electric vehicle segment single-handedly with approximately 40.9% market share in the passenger EV space as of August 2025.
These sales figures include sales of Tata Passenger Electric Mobility Limited, a subsidiary of Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles Ltd.
